Literary Citizenship In Action: Walking Boston’s Literary History
Writer and historian Jessica Kent looked around at Boston’s literary underpinnings and saw an opportunity to pull them all together into a pair of informative tours. Seeing a need for a more cohesive approach to Boston’s colorful literary scene and filling it in this unique and interactive way, she’s the epitome of a literary citizen!

A few weeks back, three friends and I decided to join Literary Boston’s Ink and Cobblestones Tour, making our way through downtown Boston and over to historic Beacon Hill for 90 minutes of interesting facts accompanied by literary readings.
In addition to the Boston tour, Jessica also runs the Crimson and Quills tour through the equally impressive literary Cambridge. And now, brand new to the tour package offered by Literary Boston is the Revolutionary Words Tour. Jessica calls this “a literary walk through the writings that inspired independence.”
